Potion Kitchen

Customers are here, right now, ordering potions. Good news! You're not alone (literally, this requires two people to play, each on a separate device). Bad news is the customers don't speak English and you only have a few minutes.

The Floor Lord's job is to figure out what the customers want and tell the Brew Lord. The Brew Lord's job is to make the potions that the people want.

--HOW TO PLAY--

If you're on a computer:

X is X and Z is O

Use the arrows to move

Find a friend to play this with you, send them the link. One of you select Brew Lord, the other Floor Lord. Then select the same kitchen. Make sure the nonsense words that pop up are the same (they are based on the hour that you are playing, so if your region is different you might have to do some tech magic). If they are the same count down and press X at the same time.

FLOOR LORD

Press O to open your dictionary and translate what the customer is saying. When you think you have answer close the dictionary and then assign a potion to that customer.
!IMPORTANT: Actually tell the Brew Lord what that potion is, like, verbally, I am not a good enough programmer to figure out how to get devices to talk to each other!

If you aren't sure what the customer wants, you can assign a ? and come back to them later. Now, a new customer will come in

BREW LORD

Listen to your Floor Lord's request and make that potion. Your recipe board will tell you what you need. Fruits are up, flowers and left and bones are right. When you've got all the ingredients you need on the table, head to the right and brew that potion.

Your team's final score will be shown to the Brew Lord only. Make sure you tell the Floor Lord how you did. You get $1 for each potion that you made, that a customer also wanted.

TIPS

Floor Lord: don't try and get a perfect translation before telling your Brew Lord. Many words are missing from your dictionary. See if you can intuit what words mean that aren't in the dictionary. There's some common words that frequently pop up for similar orders. Good luck, it's a stressful job.

Brew Lord: get making stuff ASAP. There isn't much time, it's better to make an incorrect potion than sit about and wait for your Floor Lord to get a perfect translation. Good luck, it's a stressful job.

Things that should probably be noted, that will make sense when the time comes (these are absolutely issues I should fix, but, I might not get a chance to fix until 2026):

The cat is trying to get the bones. You aren't the cat.

Load the table up fully then brew them. Don't do one at a time. 

Tell the floor lord the score. Talk about it.
